About Finessa
A cleaning company shaped by property.
Finessa was founded on experience of buying, refurbishing and managing property — and on a frustration with the standard of cleaning that was available for it.

The story
It began with the finish that was always missing.
Our founder's working life has been spent on property: acquiring it, refurbishing it, and then living with the results. That process teaches you what a well-finished building feels like — and how quickly a poor clean undoes it.
Professional cleaning, again and again, did not match the standard of the work that had just been completed. The top of a door frame was missed. Window reveals were left dusty. A refurbishment was cleaned once, and the fine dust returned the following day. Brass was polished with something that dulled it. The work was usually done. It was rarely finished.
Finessa was established to close that gap, with a straightforward proposition: a cleaning company that treats a property the way its owner does, and puts the standard in writing so that it can be relied on.
The intention was never to become the largest cleaning company in the region. It was to become one that can be trusted with the properties clients care most about — their homes, their premises, and the developments they are about to hand over.

How we work
Read the building first.
Before we clean anything, we ask what it is made of and how it is used. A limestone floor, a lacquered door and a brushed brass tap do not want the same treatment, and the difference between a good clean and a damaged finish is often a single product.
The same applies to a site. A plot that is three days from handover is a different job from one that has just finished second fix, and the specification should say so.
Principles
What we hold to.
Detail over speed
We would rather do a smaller amount of work properly than a large amount approximately. Where a property needs more time, we say so before we start.
Discretion
Homes and sites are private. Access, contents and schedules are treated as confidential, and we are happy to work to a confidentiality agreement.
Written standards
Specifications, schedules and checklists are written down. A standard that only exists in someone's head cannot be reviewed, improved or relied upon.
Honesty about fit
If a property, a site or a timescale is not something we can serve well, we will say so rather than take the work and disappoint.
Next step
Start with a conversation.
Tell us about the property, the site or the programme. We will reply personally and tell you honestly whether we are the right fit.
