This policy explains what happens to the information you send through this website. It is written to be read rather than to be survived.
Who we are
Finessa Cleaning Co. is a trading name of Roots2home Ltd, a company registered in the United Kingdom under company number 17344609, providing cleaning services across Greater Manchester, Cheshire and the North West.
Where this policy says "we", "us" or "Finessa", it means Roots2home Ltd trading as Finessa Cleaning Co. For any question about this policy, or to ask us to correct or delete information, email hello@finessacleaning.co.uk.
What we collect
When you send an enquiry we collect what you enter: your name, company name if you give one, email address, telephone number, the service you are interested in, the property or site location, approximate size, any site details you add, a preferred date, and your message.
Our server also records the date and time the enquiry was sent and the page it came from. We use that only to reply accurately and to trace a fault if the form misbehaves.
We do not use advertising identifiers, tracking pixels or cross-site trackers, and we do not build a profile of your browsing. Page views are counted with Plausible Analytics, which sets no cookies, collects no personal data and does not follow you to other websites.
Why we hold it
We use your information to answer your enquiry, to prepare a quotation and to correspond with you about the work. Our lawful basis is our legitimate interest in responding to a business enquiry you have chosen to send us, and — where a contract follows — the performance of that contract.
We do not use your information for marketing, profiling or automated decision-making, and we do not sell it.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry information for as long as it is needed to respond to you and to hold an accurate record of the work we have quoted for. Where an enquiry does not lead to work, it is deleted once it is no longer needed rather than kept indefinitely.
You can ask us to delete your enquiry sooner, and we will do so unless we are required to keep it for accounting or legal reasons — in which case we will tell you why.
How it is stored
Enquiries are sent to our server over an encrypted connection and stored in the database that runs this website. That database is reachable only by the website's own server, and access to it is limited to the people who administer the site.
No system can be guaranteed completely secure, and we would rather say that plainly than claim otherwise.
Enquiries are held in a private area of this website that only authorised administrators can open, using a username and password. Each enquiry carries a handling status and internal notes — for example, that a call was made or a quotation sent — so that nothing is lost between messages. Those notes are kept for our own record and are never shown to anyone outside the business.
Who we share it with
Your information is held in the systems that run this website and, where an enquiry is answered by email, in the mailbox we use for correspondence. Those systems are provided by service providers acting on our instructions: our hosting and database provider, and — if email notification is enabled — a transactional email provider.
Page views are counted by Plausible Analytics, which receives the page address, a general location and a device type, but none of the details you enter in the enquiry form.
We share information with no one else, unless the law requires it or you ask us to.
Your rights
You have the right to ask for a copy of the information we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, to restrict or object to how it is used, and to ask for it in a portable format.
To exercise any of these rights, email hello@finessacleaning.co.uk. If you are not satisfied with our response, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
Cookies
This website sets no cookies of its own, and the enquiry form works without them. Page views are counted without cookies or persistent identifiers. The cookie policy explains this in full.
Changes
If this policy changes, the revised version will be published on this page with a new date. Where a change materially affects how we use information you have already given us, we will contact you about it.
